THE ZAMBIA HORSE SOCIETY
The Zambia Horse Society is the National Federation for all competitive horse sport in Zambia, with the exclusion of Polo and Polo-X. It is afilliated to the F.E.I. and hosts several International events in dressage and show jumping during the year. It's purpose is to monitor and enforce rules to ensure the safety of both horse and rider at shows and training sessions and to create a fair and level playing field for all competitors.
THE ZAMBIA PONY CLUB
The Zambia Pony Club came into existence in 2006. It is afilliated to the British Pony Club and follows the rules and undertakings of that Society. Currently we only have one fully operational Branch in Lusaka but a second Branch in the Copperbelt is in the process of being formed. Pony Club is for children and young people up to the age of 21 and its aim is to educate young people not only in riding but in the care of their ponies in and out of the stable. It encourages team spirit and good sportsmanship and is an excellent place for young riders to start on their path to becoming an all round, knowledgeable horseman.

Every summer near where I live, there is the Bristol Renissiance Fair that run on weekends and they have jousting on horseback, along with many other nifty things, but that it cool.
Isn't it simply fascinating! I must be a warhorse challenge fanatic because I could spend my life's savings doing what these people are doing. They are having the time of their lives.
What great pics. We have renaissance faire every year held about 2 hours away from us. It is called King Richards Faire we love it.
